I truly appreciate the way Miss Sarah integrates geography, history, literature, art, and other subjects into a cohesive whole, allowing my child to learn in a comprehensive and interconnected manner. I also value the Socratic method she employs, which fosters wise, logical, and inspiring conversations during each class. These thoughtful discussions enhance understanding and provide skills that will benefit my child throughout her lifetime.

Before working with Sarah, Zoey sometimes struggled with staying focused and organizing her thoughts in writing. Over time, we’ve seen clear improvements not only in her writing skills, but also in her confidence and willingness to express her ideas. She is now more independent and approaches assignments with a much more positive attitude.

What I appreciate most is Sarah's thoughtful and structured approach, as well as the way she encourages students while still maintaining high expectations. The feedback Sarah provides is clear and very helpful, which has made a noticeable difference.

I would definitely recommend Sarah's tutoring to other families. It has been a very positive experience for us, and we truly value the support Zoey has received.

My son Joshua is taking the second class with Miss Sarah.  He is 12 years old, and we've homeschooled for more than four years.  Doctor has diagnosed him with ADD.  He's restless  a lot of times and his learning is mostly interest-driven.  He usually says no to any class I'd sign up for, and he gets bored easily.  So it has been a constant struggle in our homeschool journey.

A friend introduced us to Miss Sarah's Patty Reed's Doll class last year. I think let's give it a try.  He actually really liked Miss Sarah and enjoyed the class very much.  He was very engaging in the class and did most of his homework volunteeringly without too much help from me.  This year we're taking Miss Sarah's geography class, he loves it also. He does his daily homework first thing in the morning without me reminding him. He has learned so much geography knowledge, I also learned alongside him. That has inspired us to want to travel more.

Miss Sarah is a great teacher, she is very patient and respectful to the children.  Miss Sarah's class was designed very special and thoughtful; she included a lot of additional interesting materials that covered not only reading, writing, grammar, but also history and characters. Homework design is very thoughtful; not the traditional filling in the blank style. Kids actually learn through research and recording their works.  And as a Christian, I also appreciate that Miss Sarah has a biblical worldview, always remembering God for his Sovereignty.

My son asked me 'Can you teach me things as interesting as Miss Sarah's class?' Well, that's a pretty high bar to reach.  LOL.  I would highly recommend Miss Sarah's class to any parents, either homeschool or public school student. Your children would really benefit from her excellent tutoring.

My child has been reading with Miss Sarah since last year. This reading project has not only enhanced her reading skills but also taught her a lot about California history. It’s made reading truly fun for her! At the end of each session, Miss Sarah also takes the children to visit some of the places mentioned in the books. This hands-on experience allows them to gain a much deeper understanding of what they've learned.
The homework combines challenge with fun.

Before starting tutoring, my daughter was struggling to organize her thoughts for writing
assignments, which led to a lot of frustration during our homeschool lessons. On a friend's
recommendation, we started weekly classes with Miss Sarah two years ago. Since beginning the sessions, my daughter’s comprehension and writing structure have demonstrably improved. She completes her assignments more efficiently and shows a higher baseline of confidence when approaching complex topics.

What we appreciated most about the experience was Miss Sarah's structured methodology
and clear communication to help my daughter learn. Miss Sarah’s teaching was practical,
straightforward, and engaging, tailored to my daughter’s pace. We really appreciate how patient
and encouraging she has been. Besides seeing my daughter's improvement, I, as a parent, have always enjoyed and learned a lot in Miss Sarah’s class.

If you are looking for a writing class for your child, I highly recommend her. Miss Sarah's
teaching provides an effective, targeted solution for academic roadblocks, eases the daily
learning process, takes the stress out of the subject, and truly boosts your child's confidence.

I really enjoy Miss Sarah's classes because she is a teacher who is deeply passionate about history, and she shares what she has witnessed with love. I remember once during a field trip, she shared about the innocent civilians during World War II, and she cried. It was because of her love for history that she reacted so emotionally. She puts a lot of effort into preparing her handouts, designing her lessons, and assigning homework. She has a wealth of knowledge, and her classes are engaging and enriching.

I'm a new homeschooler, and English isn't my native language. I've always worried about my child's reading, especially his language aquisition. At the end of the semester, I tested our child's level, and they were at an above-average level. Surprisingly, my younger son's literature score was the best. My husband was very curious, since we hadn't taught him any other literature classes. I told my husband it was thanks to Miss Sarah's classes. The course design is not only historically helpful but also enhances literacy skills. Furthermore, the upper-grade courses don't just focus on history; they also broaden children's horizons to include social, economic, and political aspects, greatly enhancing their interest and perspectives, and helping them learn how to integrate different areas of knowledge. We highly recommend studying Vallejo and the Four Flags, Patty Reed's Doll, U.S. History, and Geography.
